With just two weeks before the Clan Cameron Gathers at Achnacarry Castle, there's precious little time to make final preparations. We hope that this final update might be of assistance: TICKETS: The best way to purchase tickets for the International Gathering of Clan Cameron (especially for those wishing to use a credit card and those with foreign currency conversion situations) is in advance, via the Internet ( www.clancameron.org.uk/tickets.html). PLEASE NOTE: Advance tickets will only be available through the 22nd July. After that date they will need to be purchased with cash at the field entrance gate (between the Clan Cameron Museum and Achnacarry Castle), day of event. LODGING: Word has been received yesterday that the Glen Spean area (extending up along Loch Lochy's eastern shore) is at saturation. There are a handful of rooms available at several B&Bs, but they are rapidly disappearing. The same might be said for establishments closer to and including Fort William. Outstanding booking resources would include: www.highland-glens.co.uk/late_availibility.php and www.visit-fortwilliam.co.ukGATHERING GEAR: There is still time to purchase your Clan Cameron International Gathering branded "Gathering Gear." The Clan Cameron Association's Cafepress website has been delivering orders within five days, even faster with express delivery. With printing and distribution facilities in the UK, Canada, Australia, and the U.S., there's still time to purchase a keepsake t-shirt, polo shirt, sweatshirt or other item (including the Clan Cameron Gathering stuffed bear, a must for the wee ones!) www.cafepress.com/clancameron

VIDEOS OF GATHERING 2009 EDINBURGH AND CLAN CAMERON GATHERING JUST POSTED !!! I have just posted some of my edited video from the Gathering 2009 in Edinburgh and of the Clan Cameron Gathering 2009 in Achnacarry/Fort William on the Clan Cameron-Scotland website. You can also search these out on YouTube. I trust this will give good memories to those many who attended, and to those who were unable to be with us.
