Wrote this story for the Scottish Society . Wanted to share it with the Cameron Kids . The title of the story is : THE EASTER RABBIT , AND THE SNOWSHOE HARE : It's in Auld Scots . A lang time agae when the Scots werrre just starrrtin' to settle Canada , n' the Norrtherrrn oairrts o' the U. S. They werre gettin' rrready to celebrrrate Easterrrr n' the wee lads , n' lassies werrre waitin' fer the Easterrr Rrrabbit to deliverr Easterrr Eggs to them , but that yearrr weeks beforrre Easterrr it starrrted snowin' , snowin' snowin' n' snowin ' . The Easterrr Rrrabbit was startin' to get worr'it , Sae he went to the Lorrrd o' the Plains ( American Bison / Buffalo ) if he wuid help him deliver his Easterrr Eggs , but the Lorrrd o' the Plains was too pround , n' haunty to eventhink o' doing anyone a favourrr . He asked the Easter rr Rrrabbit why shuid I worrry aboot a few eggs? When all seemed the King of all Snowshoe Hares told the Easterrrr Rrrabbit that he'll help deliverr the Easterrr Eggs as he owed the Easterrr rrrrabbit his life . Also a Heilan' Coo offered to help .The King o' the Snowshoe Hare was called Rory , n' the Heilan' Coo's name was William " Billy " for short . Sae wi' the help o' Rory and his Clan , n' Billy , n' his herrd the Easterrr Rrrabbit set oot to deliver his Easterrr Eggs . Whaur the snow was too deeep for the Easterrr Rrrabbit to walk on Rory , n' his Clan took o'er the deliverrry o' the EasterrrEggs , n' whaur the snow was even too deep for tRory , n' his herrd bulldozed a path thrrrough the snow .Sae one way , oor anither The Easterr Rrrabbit was able taedeliver his eggs on time in fact they made sae much noise it woke Alaisdair , n' Fiona Cameron frae a sound sleep , n' as they looked oot their window they saw the Easterrr Rrrabbit , Rory , n' Billy walkin' awa . Billy still was carrryin' some Easterrr Eggs , n' as Alasdair turrrned to speak to Fiona , he said I didnae know heilan' coos carrred Easterrr Eggs .

There was a couple named June who wanted a daughter , but all they got were sons . Then one night the wife was rushed to the hospital . Thinking it was going to be another son , but they weren't sure what the baby was going to be . Finally the baby was born , and to their surprise it was a girl , As it happened she was born in April . The doctor asked the couple what were they going to name her ? The mother was so happy that she finally had a daughter without taking the time to think of the consequences she told the doctor that the baby's name is April Mae June ;D

Duncan McDuncan cam' to tha' U.S. to atten' some hielan' games o'er here . As he was leavin' tha' airport he spied a Dunking Donut Shop . Sin' he nae heard o' them he decided to try one . It was sae guid he ended up eatin' a dozen o' them . When he had finished Duncan aske'd owner whaur he cuid learn how to make donuts . Tha' owner replie' d that if he cuid stay a while he wuid teach him how to make them .uid After learnin' everythin' he cuid Duncan wunt back to Scotland n' opene'd his own donut shop . Tha' name o' his shop was McD uncan's Dunkin' Donuts .Whithin a few short years there were McDuncan's Dunkin' Donuts all o'er Scotland . In there was a Mc Duncan's shop in Edinburgh that sold more McDuncan's Dunkin' Donuts in one month than McDonald's sold " Happy Meals " in a year .
