Music of the Cameron's

I am currently trying to put together a comprehensive collection of music, song and dance specific to the Clan Cameron. As i am the piper for the Scottish Branch of the asociation i have naturally started to acquire pipe music. I'd be greatful if anybody out there could give me details of any music, song and dance specific to the Clan, either by sending me copies or by giving me helpful hints on locations of such information. These may be items you've written yourself or items you just know about, don't worry if you think you may have something that you think i will already have as it's just poss that you may have a different setting. It is my intention that we'll arrange for a hard copy of all information shared - once collated - to be kept at the museum at Achnacarry. Many thanks for any assistance

Astie has a great idea, and this project will surely be a lasting record of the music and tunes of Clan Cameron. I'd encourage anyone with music to send the materials to Astie, and those with dance records as well (a little documented but noteworthy aim for this project.)

I have a bok called "A Pipers Day". I purchased it at Fort George last year before the gathering. In there are several Cameron tunes. I know you probably have most of them, but there is some interesting reading along with the music scores.

Hey Astie, I have a view tunes specific to Camerons. Can you leave a link where I could contact you with a list of what I have or should we just do it here so all can see what we have. I wouldn't mind amassing any other Cameron tunes myself that you or others have.
