I am trying to trace Donald (Don) Cameron who was a sergeant in the Canadian Army when he visited us in Inverness around 1954. Unfortunately I know nothing else about him. The photograph was taken during his visit to my grandparents at Daviot a small village 6 miles from Inverness. Hopefully someone in Canada may be able to assist me. Thanks. Sandy Cameron. Hi Sandy, I found a retired Sgt. Don Cameron, who served during WW2, and possibly afterwards with The British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own). I have attached a picture taken at a Regimental function, Don is the gentleman on the right. Looking at the two photo's - it could be him. I will try to find contact info for the Regiment's alumni group and pass it along. Slainte, John Attachments:

Hi Sandy, You're most welcome - the Regiment has an email address where you can get info. It is "dukeinfo@bcregiment.com".
All the best,
John

Hi. I eventually managed to get through to the B C Regiment. I left a message and one of the gentlemen in the reunion photograph got in touch with me. Alas this is not the Donald Cameron I am looking for. Something tells me he would be on the east coast. Thanks for all your help. If anyone else out there can assist it would be appreciated. Sandy Cameron.
