IN BED BY NINE (with apologies to Robert Burns) It is, sung, if you can, to the tune of Auld Lang Syne-- The older my acquaintance gets The more I am inclined To skip the noise on New Years Eve, And be in bed by nine. I'm yawning as the party starts And nodding as we dine The ball has dropped, and so have I, For I'm in bed by nine. Lets be in bed by nine, my dear, Lets be in bed by nine, We'll celebrate at half past eight, And be in bed by nine.

LOL! I was married on Dec 30th, so for the first 15 year of marriage we celebrated both our anniversary AND New Years Eve, the second 15 years we made a choice to celebrate one or the other, but these last few years we celebrate both, as long as we can be in bed by 9!

Not even by a "small way" did I enjoy learning about the life of Lady Margaret. I never knew her, but I feel I shall miss her! God Speed, Lady Margaret.
