Hello All
Anyone who has come across me before will know that I am researching my PhD on the cultural associations of Scottish battlefields. Well, I have another request to make of you all.
Next Monday, for a fortnight, I will be in Fort William, as part of an archaeological project on the fort and Inverlochy battlefield. As always, my main focus will be on what these places continue to mean to people. I would like to hear any stories people may have. Does anyone know any legends or traditions associated with these places? Or songs? Or maybe you have photographs from a visit you made to the area, or old family photographs?
As always, many thanks. Shan

I imagine you already have the Gaelic port mor, "Latha Inbhirlochaidh" by the MacDonald bard, Iain Luim? If not, let me know.

Seamus
Apologies for the slow response.
I don't have "Latha Inbhirlochaidh", though it is one I have been searching for, so i would certainly welcome your assistance.
Thank you Shan
