Dear Members of Clan Cameron Scotland, we presently have in Sydney The Right Honourable Robin Blair, LVO WS Lord Lyon. King of Arms who on Thursday evening delivered an address to the Sydney Society for Scottish History.
In later conversation Lord Lyon confided that Clan Cameron Scotland has now received the Granting of their Petition to the Court of Lord Lyon for the use of Coat of Arms and that these have now been presented to them in a ceremony at Edinburgh.
Could I ask whether these Arms will be available to be used by Clan Cameron Associations outside of Scotland, could permission be obtained from Clan Cameron Association Scotland for the Banner of Clan Cameron Australia - NSW to exhibit these Arms and if so under what conditions?
Perhaps use by other Clan Cameron Associations overseas will help defray the cost of Registration of these Arms.....
