My Cameron's are from Cromdale and Grantown (1800 - 1900). There is A Lewis who had a son John with Jessie Grant in 1872.
John married Ann Bird in Grantown in 1894 and they came to Edinburgh (with their children Peter, Lewis and Catherine) ometime around 1900. They had further children and my Grandfather (James Russell) was born in Leith in 1912.
Does anyone have any links to these areas/people?
