Trying To Find.

I'm trying to find anything on my great grandfather,Herbert George Cameron.His son,my grandfather,Thomas Charles Cameron,was born around 1889 -1891 on 25th january.
Not sure of his exact birth year as he put his age up to enlist in the 1st world war.Apparently Herbert george fought in that war as well,so I'm guessing he was born in the mid to late 1870's.Can't find out whether either was born in Scotland or England.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Having a quick browse through the www.familysearch.org website,it threw up this entry from the English Census of 1881:

PRO Ref:RG/11/1709 book 94 page 5:

At 2 Grafton Road,West Ham,Essex:
-George CAMERON,37,Ship Joiner,b.Scotland.
-Sarah A.,wife,34,b.Poplar,Middlesex.
-Herbert G.,son,13,Scholar,b.Poplar,Middlesex.

You'll have a better idea than me whether this could be your family.

Unfortunately the whole entry for the household can't be accessed on this website,so it's difficult to know what brothers and sisters Herbert had.

Incidentally,I also see that this George Cameron married Sarah Ann Caton in Stepney,London,in 1864.
