HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY
CLAN CAMERON NSW
To celebrate our twenty years as a Clan Society we will be holding a combined Celebration.
We will be joining our Birthday with that of one of Australia Best Loved Poets
Dame Mary Gilmore nee Cameron.
Dame Mary, was born on 16th Aug 1865 near Goulburn New South Wales, and it is to Goulburn that we will journey for the week-end of the 16/17 August.
Both Goulburn City Council and the Goulburn Historical Society are interested in joining in and celebrating the birthday of one of our own Australian Camerons whose ancestors migrated to Australia on the “Charlotte Jane” in 1848.
We hope that many will be with us to celebrate this 20th Birthday and that those who we are yet to meet will join in a celebrate not only our Birthday but also the Birthday of one of Australia’s Greatest Poets.
