I don't know of any cotton tartan but with a bit of extra work you might be able to line a ligter weight wool and keep it away from you that way. Wool makes me itch so I have my slacks and such lined. It works very well. Good luck

I have this cursed allergy to wool!!!!! I've been looking for a Shirt Weight Cotton fabric in the Dress Cameron Tartan to make a long kilt. Please help me find some!!! Do you mean a great-kilt, over the upper-body, or from the waist down? But what you might want is The House of Tartan, they have 90" x 60" table-clothes at a cost of 17 Pounds each. Or contact Oban, Scotland on the wharf is a shop that sells cotten-tourist-kilts in clan-setts they were ten Pounds each with tax some 2 years past. they will need the waist size and postage to forward them. Hope this works for you. I think it was called McCaig's Wharf, but just contact the tourism department at Oban the address is on the inter-net search word Oban. slainte math, Kirkland
