On this, the 264th Anniversary of the Battle of Culloden (April 16, 1746), let us remember those brave Camerons, who followed Lochiel and bravely fought for King James and for Scotland.

"Many's the lad fought on that day, Well the Claymore could wield, When the night came, silently lay Dead in Culloden's field.
Burnt are their homes, exile and death Scattered the loyal men; Yet ere the sword is cool in the sheath Charlie will come again."
(The Skye Boat Song - Sir Harold Boulton, 1859- 1935)

BATTLE OF CULLODEN 265th ANNIVERSARY In a few short hours, Clan Cameron and a host of other Clans will gather at the Culloden Battlefield to remember those who so many years ago, on April 16, 1746, gave their lives and so much more. Let every Cameron and Septs of the Great Clan Cameron pause on April 16 -if only for a brief moment- to say a prayer for all those brave men and remember their noble sacrifices. God bless them all, AYE!
