Those looking for a reasonably priced, very nice dinner, try the Letterfinlay Lodge Hotel. I had the pleasure of dining here in late 2007 and offer the following: Their menu ( www.letterfinlaylodgehotel.co.uk/cust_images/pdf/Wintermenu08.pdf) features a nice variety of options from basic sandwiches to steaks, fish, local venison, Highland lamb and many other dishes. I can only personally offer an opinion on the haddock & chips, which were wonderful, but it looked as though those other diners at surrounding tables were also enjoying their meals very much. The food is complimented by a stunning view out across Loch Lochy from both the dining room and the large deck. A children's menu is also featured, and there are numerous desserts to choose from. If you're north of Spean Bridge and south of Inverness, this is definitely the place to dine!
