My ancestor Janet Cameron married William Innes in 1814 and they lived in Inveravon at the family farm named Craighead which was located in Glenlivet.
I have been able to confirm that Janet Cameron was RC and that William was Protestant. Unfortunately, I do not know where they were buried.
What I do know is that William died in 1861 as confirmed by his death extract but it does not say where he was buried. As for Janet Cameron, his spouse, I don't know when she died but it was between the 1841 and 1851 Census. She appears in the 1841 census but only William appears in the 1851 Census as a widower.
I have some information which tells me that she had a brother name Charles who married a Rattray lady and that one of their children, William became a well to do farmer in Kirkmichael.
Charles Cameron's parents, as per his death extract, were John Cameron and Catherine Stuart. No mention from where.
Any suggestion as to where they might have been buried?
William
