Hi there, just thought there was one excellent piping contact missing from this area of the message board. www.bagpipes.freeuk.com/index-2.htmlI met up with Dugie a few times through work and let me see the pipes he makes and where he makes them. He also told me about the drone reeds he makes - incorporating carbon fibre. He later sent me a set and I have been playing them for a few months now. I would whole heartedly recommend these reeds to all. So for all you pipers out there looking for a set of pipes, chanters, drone reeds etc. - why not give these pipes a go. Astie.

A bagpiper friend of mine told me about this website to find highland games in Scotland . For those who are interested in attending one , or more of the games while in Scotland go to wwwrsbp.org Then click on the calendar for August 2009 . It will give you the dates of Highland Games for the month of August , and I think it will also give you the dates for the WORLD'S PIPEBAND COMPETITION that's being held in Glasgow that same month .
