Piper's Needed

Hello all. I’m a commissioner with the Village of Streamwood (northwest suburb of Chicago Illinois). More accurately, I am a commissioner on the Veterans Memorial Commission.

We are looking to hire bagpipers for our Memorial Day ceremony (Monday May 29th 2006).

Our veterans memorial is one of the finest in the nation and with the support of the local VFW, American Legion, Woman’s Auxiliary and local residents, we have a fantastic ceremony preceded by a 24 hour vigil guard and culminating in a fly over and bagpipes.

We would appreciate the opportunity to talk with any groups near the Chicago area that would be interested.

Came across a tape a music teacher & I made that needs to be converted to bagpipes . It's a hymn for playing on bagpipes .Needs some work on it . I can send copy of tape to any interested piper that might be interested in converting hymn from organ to bagpipe it's not long .
