Donald Dhu,XVth Chief of Clan Cameron,succeeded his brother Ewen Beag in 1553.Documented records for this murky period are difficult to find,so we might assume that he was married circa 1550 to 1560.His wife was a daughter of Hector Mor Maclean of Duart,and on Donald's death in 1569 (possibly at the hands of a clansman),he was succeeded by his son Allan,a minor.
