BBC2 Scotland is showing a new programme that started this week., about Scotland's Clans. It is shown on a Monday night at 8.00pm. This coming Monday (13th October) it is about the history of Clan Cameron so if you live in the UK I would think you would want to watch this. If you miss it it will be shown for seven days on the internet at www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/ - just type Scotland's Clans into the search engine and it will come up. Regretfully I don't think it is available to people living outside of the UK. (Edited to say: Sorry I meant to post this in the History section)

I have just watched the programme tonight featuring the Clan Cameron. I was always proud to be associated with the Clan but after watching the programme tonight I am so proud of the history and the contirbution the Clan has made to Scotland.
It featured Ewan Cameron and Archibald Cameron, who suffered a horrible death at the hands of the English. It showed Glenfinnan and the stone that had the footprints of Lochiel as he met Charlie and the number '827' that was the number of clansmen who assembled on 19th August 1745 as the Jacobite Standard was raised. I found it moving and it filled me with pride.
Sean/Jon - I will do my utmost to have this copied for you as I know it will fill you with pride.
I loved the programme and confess to shedding a tear as I watched it.
Allan
